Sheet Metal Fabrication

Overview

At Charles F. Evans, we offer advanced fabrication services for a wide range of architectural metal panel systems, including both Metal Composite Material (MCM) and custom single skin or plate panels.

Our capabilities include: Finishing, Punching, Shearing, Notching, Bending, Assembly, Cutting, CNC Routing, and Radius Forming

Metal Composite Material (MCM) Panels

MCM panels are engineered using a variety of metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, zinc, titanium, copper, and steel. Unlike Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels—made solely from aluminum—MCM panels feature two metal sheets fused to a thermoplastic core. This construction provides superior durability, flexibility, and weather resistance while delivering a clean, modern appearance.

Ideal for both new construction and renovation, MCM panels are available in a broad spectrum of finishes and can be tailored by thickness, color, texture, shape, and installation method to meet the specific needs of each project. Our team designs panel systems that align with stringent fire safety regulations and local code compliance, drawing on years of hands-on experience with NFPA 285-compliant assemblies.

Custom Single Skin & Plate Panels

Our pre-formed single skin metal panels offer practical advantages like protective finishes, design versatility, and cost-effective installation. With today’s technology, achieving unique, project-specific solutions is more accessible than ever. Whether you need standard or custom designs, we provide a variety of options for color, shape, texture, and profile.

We specialize in profile replication, matching standard roll-formed configurations including flatlock and ribbed styles. Installation options include lap seam, flush, and exposed fastener systems. Brake forming is available for any panel profile, delivering complete customization from concept to installation.

In addition, we fabricate plate panels crafted from thicker gauge metals for projects demanding high strength and long-term durability. These panels are fully customizable to fit your exact specifications in terms of size, gauge, surface finish, and overall design.

Available materials include—but are not limited to—aluminum, stainless steel, copper, zinc, terne-coated steel, brass, galvanized steel, and galvalume.
